The end of 2016 was certainly busy for everyone in the Tower Homes office. While we were busy selling new homes in Montevallo Park and Brooke’s Crossing, we were also working on drawing up plans for our new and “coming soon” communities, Grants Mill Valley in Irondale and Cahaba Farms in Trussville. On top of all that, we were also in the middle of our office renovation.
Because we decided to change the wall and trim colors, almost everything had to be moved. Only the heavy furniture and windows were carefully covered by protective plastic covers. Our team packed up the boxes and moved to our design studio upstairs. Our Estimator Zac Meadows, was responsible for the entire renovation. Zac kept everything under the control, and he made sure the whole renovation process went smoothly. As always, Zac did a phenomenal job and the renovation turned into another “WOW!” for Tower Homes.

The timing of the renovation was perfect. As December is a month for sharing and spending time together, this was especially true during our renovation. There were a few moments when we felt a bit cramped in our “cozy” design center. The transition was especially tough for our Controller Richard Force, who likes to keep his paperwork neat and organized. This was hard to do while sharing a desk with three other people. At times, we were unable to see Richard, as he was covered by the stacks of paper and surrounded by telephone cables, computer chargers, and piles of bills.

After 14 days, we were excited to move back into our offices, which look fantastic and smell like a fresh coat of paint! It’s amazing what different wall and trim colors can do for many rooms! Another feature our team at Tower Homes love – is the distressed wood wall, which is featured in our entrance office. When you visit our model homes you can also see distressed wood in our tray ceilings, around the fireplace, or on an accent wall.
