A Step-by-Step Guide to Your New Home Building Journey


Step 1: Lot & Plan Selection

Meet with your Tower agent to choose the floor plan and lot that fits your lifestyle and budget. This is where it all begins!
WHEN: The moment you fall in love with the community and decide to move forward.
WHERE: With a Tower new homes specialist in your chosen community


Step 2: Financing & Purchase Agreement

Work with your preferred lender to secure financing.
After pre-approval, sign your purchase agreement to officially kick off your building journey.
WHEN: Shortly after lot & plan selection
WHERE: With a Tower new homes specialist in your chosen community


Step 3: Plan Review & Design Appointment

Meet with Tower team members, your agent, and Tower’s design team to:

  • Review your floor plan
  • Talk through your timeline
  • Select your home’s finishes and optional upgrades
  • Flooring, paint, roofing, fixtures, etc.
  • Choose optional luxury upgrades

 

WHEN: Shortly after signing your purchase agreement
WHERE: Tower Homes Design Center


Step 4: Electrical Walk

Walk your framed home with our construction team to:

  • Review and confirm locations for lighting, outlets, fencing, and other key items
  • Ensure everything is placed just right before drywall goes up

 

WHEN: ~75 days from closing
WHERE: At your homesite


Step 5: New Home Orientation

Meet with the construction team to walk through your completed home:

  • Create/review the punch list
  • Confirm everything is to your liking
  • Learn about your home’s features, warranties, and maintenance

 

Tower’s commitment: Punch list items will be complete before you close!

WHEN: ~14 days from closing
WHERE: At your homesite


Step 6: Closing Day

Sign final paperwork and receive the keys to your brand new Tower home.
WHEN: Scheduled in advance with your Tower agent
WHERE: With your lender and title company or closing attorney
