Tower Homes’ Rachel Kim sits down with Nisu Patel and discusses the home building process of his new home at Oxmoor Village
Rachel: Hi everyone, I’m Rachel Kim with Tower Homes. I’m here with first-time homebuyer Nisu Patel. Thanks for joining us!
Nisu: Absolutely. Thanks for having me, Rachel.
Rachel: So tell us, what do you think about your new home?
Nisu: I absolutely love it. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve made.
Rachel: And we’ve loved having you here.
Nisu: Thank you.
Rachel: How did you decide to build a Tower Home?
Nisu: So, I’d been in the market for a little over a year, and one of the key attractors was the convenience factor of the community, as well as the ability to build a home and get the value out of it – instead of buying a home that was a little dated.
Rachel: It was a lot of fun. You got to personalize it and really make it your own, didn’t you?
Nisu: Oh, absolutely! It can be a little overwhelming, to be transparent and honest, but I would not trade it.
Rachel: So, what did you think about the overall build process?
Nisu: The overall building process was not as overwhelming as you would expect. Thankfully, yourself and the team at Tower Homes was able to fine-tune it and make it as easy as possible from a first-time buyer’s perspective.
Rachel: As a first-time homebuyer, what advice do you have for other first-time homebuyers?
Nisu: Well, for a first-time homebuyer, specifically one that’s building a new construction home like the one we did here at Tower Homes, I would say it starts with clear communication with the builders and with the selling agent and your buyer’s agent. And having clear communication with them of what you expect, and what your vision is for the home. But also having an open mind and trying to be as organized as possible because there are a lot of details that go into it.
Rachel: There’s a lot. Well, most importantly, we love having you here, but would you recommend Tower Homes to other friends?
Nisu: Oh, absolutely! I’ve been trying to recruit a few co-workers and friends already to come and move into the community.
Rachel: We’d love to help!
Nisu: I think it’s one of Birmingham’s hidden gems.
Rachel: It really is. And we love all your neighbors, so thanks for joining us!
Rachel: We’ll catch you next time!
